The Silver Crisp Kitchen | Case Study | Creating Spaces

Shaker kitchen, Todmorden

Another extremely happy customer… We love the Character painted grey units with the Lava rock Corian worktop, it helped to upgrade the dated kitchen giving it a more modern feel. This transformation gave our customer a light and airy open plan kitchen combining a strong feel of modernity but with a traditional twist from the shaker style doors and a range style oven.

Brief

The clients existing kitchen layout really worked for them as it was, but wanted to integrate the utility room with the kitchen more. Modernising was key to the design whilst keeping a traditional door style.

Project

A full removal of units, worktops and wall tiles was necessary on this job however the customer wanted to keep the flooring so choosing the right kitchen and colour scheme was a priority. Also the internal doorway was removed to the utility allowing more light through and to allow the floor to run through continuously. The fridge freezer was moved into the utility area, freeing up more work surface in the kitchen. By opting for an upstand with the worktops this allows the wall colour to be changed easily in years to come If another paint colour is preferred. The splashback behind the range master cooker was finished with glass mosaic tiles.

The Silver Crisp After

To the very talented guys at Creating Spaces.

Thank you so much for planning and installing our beautiful kitchen, and it was all done without a showroom!

We were the first of I’m sure many to come.
