Contemporary Kitchen Bliss | Case Study | Creating Spaces

Slab door kitchen, Sowerby Bridge

This is one of our recent projects. Our customer wanted to transform the old rental kitchen to a new contemporary open-plan kitchen. Using Graphite wood units and ice stone fusion laminate worktops. Contemporary kitchens are one of the most popular styles of kitchens, they are stylish, clean and uncluttered whilst remaining liveable. This kitchen is defiantly a show stopper!

Brief

Our client came with a vision of making a rental property attractive to the modern day lifestyle living of potential tenants. To stand out from your ‘run of the mill’ rentals but at the same time not exceeding budgets.

Needless to say this property wasn’t waiting for tenants long!!

Project

The house was renovated from top to bottom, and as you can see the electrics and plastering were all stripped back and re-done creating a sleek stylish finish.

The L-Shape layout is a classic look and enables a centre table to create a sociable feel to the room.

We decided to use ‘on trend’ units with a striking copper handle as an accessory. Black appliances rather than stainless steel were used and were complimented by the open shelving and ceiling light.

The open shelving either side of the cooker hood gives great depth and feel to the room and doubles up as a great display feature. Alternatively if storage is more on the agenda then wall units could be used instead.

The wide pan drawer unit to the left of the oven provides great storage and easy access to all your cooking equipment right where you need them, and utilising the corner cupboards with easy access uses all the space available.

I have used Creating Spaces for my kitchen, who have totally blown me away with how efficient and helpful they have been. They are literally on hand all the time, come back with amended visuals at mega speed, and nothing is too much trouble. I can’t recommend them enough and the offer trade accounts for businesses.
