Gill Utility Room | Case Study | Creating Spaces

Shaker style utility, Halifax

Our Customers said their past utility room was a dull and cluttered room now they say its classy, spacious and everything they wanted. A utility room is a practical one however that does not mean it needs to be deprived of style; like other rooms in the house it should be as much an extension of yourself as it is a working area. We Used a patterned wall as the accent of the room creating the perfect subtle contrast between the delicate grey mist quartz worktop and the davenport slate units.

Brief

The main objective of this job was too have a designated place for everything and keeping clutter to a minimum while providing much needed storage.

Project

Our customers wanted us to create a Utility room that used the space to its maximum.

On the continent where you find a washer and dryer stacked above each other enabling ease of transfer from one to the other, this was high on the clients wish list.

Then we added hanging rails to hang their washing and ironing up. We also put double doors on the boiler cupboard for it tie in with the rest of the utility room and added more spotlights and LED lights to make the room a happier and brighter room.

Gill Utility After

We are absolutely over the moon with our Utility and Boot Room. The whole process has been simply amazing from start to finish and it’s everything we wanted and more! We will definitely be coming back for more renovations.

Highly recommended!
