Napoli Slider Bedroom | Case Study | Creating Spaces

Sliding wardrobes, Copley

From what was an unused awkward space to now an elegant storage haven, our customers wanted to utilise this space and create as much storage as possible. Opting for a four door sliding option with Ceramica panels and Anthracite grey mirror helps to break up the colour and allows the room to look more spacious.

Brief

The client came to us after having spent a few months living out of boxes and freestanding hanging rails, in keeping with the rest of the house they wanted a place to store all their belongings. The space they wanted to utilise was an awkward one as there is a sloping ceiling and height is limited. Therefore, off the shelf wardrobes would not be suitable; Something more bespoke was required.

Project

Working alongside with the customer we identified what storage would suit them best and designed a mix of hanging and shelving areas (especially to accommodate their shoes). Grey internal panelling complimented existing fittings such as the carpet and bed, the colour choice of the sliding doors in black gave a striking contrast against the doors. By utilising this sloped ceiling area, the storage did not encroach on the rest of the bedroom, leaving plenty of space elsewhere.

Matthew and his team provided an excellent service from design to installation of our fitted wardrobes which included incorporating and utilising the sloping ceiling space. We would recommend Creating Spaces for the quality of their products and efficiency to completion.
